Sculpture

My work covers the art spectrum, but life-sculpture is my favorite medium, a
most direct means of capturing and celebrating the human spirit. Life-sculpture
expands the horizons of traditional lifecasting art by integrating castings from life
into a sculpted relief background or a free-standing work of art. This approach has
opened me to a variety of sculpting materials and methods. Not limited to exact
duplication, the original casting may serve only as a starting point for
a more complex sculpture.

"Gentle Touch" - cherry wood carving based on a resin lifecasting. A sculpture of this type would be approximately $1,500.

"The Children" - individual plaster lifecastings sculpted into a common relief background. A sculpture of this type would be about $600.

"Small, Still Voice" - paper mache lifecasting, sculpted with Paperclay, cloth, epoxy resin and acrylic paint. Available for $350. SOLD

"Praise" - lifecast in paper mache, sculpted in Paperclay and Celluclay, finished with acrylic paints, wood support. Available for $350.

"Dan and Jan" - cold-cast bronze traditional lifecasting. A sculpture of this type, mounted on a wood base, would be about $150.

"Reach" - Forton, wire and wood. Available for $350. SOLD
